Holiday Boutique
Booth #104
Overland Park Convention Center
Do you want to add some fun to your holiday season? How about perfect gift suggestions and really easy, but delicious desserts?
The answer is at the Holiday Boutique and we invite you to come talk to us this weekend! Come join the fun! Shopping for the perfect gift will be easy. Stop by our booth, learn about slow cooker baking, and enjoy a bite of great tasting slow cooker cakes.
This is a great time to find out how to bake in your slow cooker. We would love to show you our new book, Slow Cooker Desserts, Oh So Easy, Oh So Delicious! (Would an autographed book be the perfect gift, or what!!!)
We will be selling our Slow Cooker Cake Mixes. All five flavors—Ultimate Carrot Cake, Classic Vanilla Cheesecake with Chocolate Ganache, Key Lime Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake and Banoffee (Banana flavored with chocolate and toffee.) We will be serving tastes –and believe us, tasting is believing.
What about gifts? We got that covered. We all know we have received too many candles or ornaments at the office or Bunko gift exchange or struggled to find the perfect hostess gift. Be the hit of the party and give a Slow Cooker Cake Mix. Everyone owns a Crock-Pot, but baking in that slow cooker is new and intriguing. What a fun gift a slow cooker cake mix would be.
Cakes baked in a slow cooker are moist. They are perfect to bake now—and freeze for easy serving on busy days ahead. Many of our friends and neighbors have received a slow cooker cake—and tied in a basket, box or cellophane wrap– they loved it and it makes a scrumptious, beautiful, perfectly-sized treat.
We love to serve them at all of our holiday meals, the office lunch, the holiday party or any gathering that might end with a sweet treat. Easy, yummy, make-ahead convenience. What else could you ask for?
Do you know how to bake in a slow cooker? It is easy —just make the batter and put it in a 7-inch springform pan or 8½ x 4½ – inch loaf pan. Put the filled pan on a ring of aluminum foil in your slow cooker. Cover and bake—and in 2 or 3 hours you will have a rich, tasty, cake.
We are busy setting up the booth—and will be ready and would love to meet you when the show opens Thursday morning. This is a picture of the booth we had at War Eagle and the booth at the Holiday Boutique will be similar. Come see us—booth #104 at the Overland Park Convention Center. November 19-22, 2015. (They left us out of the listing that was in the paper–and in the exhibitor listing at the show–but have no fear! We are there, in Booth #104, and are eager to see you!)
We hope to see you there. If you can’t come, don’t despair. Here are some links that you can use:
