Don’t fall for it, not even for a one second. While school may be back in session and the stores are beginning to show the Halloween decor, you and I both know that it is still summer. The temperatures are soaring and the humidity is rising—all the more reason to continue the grilling season for months to come.
Salmon used to be the only fish that I enjoyed on a regular basis, especially at restaurants and parties. Just like clockwork every year, it happens. The temperature soars into three digits or at least it feels like the number is 3 digits and everyone begins counting the days until cooler weather. Dinner still needs to be prepared and this time of year, the easier the better. No one wants to heat up the oven and in turn heat up the kitchen.

We have discovered a “new” best pizza parlor in our neighborhood. Grimaldi’s pizza is as close as I can get to New York City some days. The pizza is NYC perfect and the Caesar salad! What can I say? The dressing must have some kind of addictive secret food additive whisked directly into the dressing. It is definitely salad nirvana.
As always, I could hardly wait to get home and try to recreate this dressing.
