It was such a thrill to introduce our newest cookbook, Delicious Dump Cakes on QVC! To a live audience! With QVC host David Venable!
For fans of QVC you can imagine the thrill. For those of you that are new to QVC, let us share some insight.
Shows on QVC are live, so the smells and tastes are live. A hard working crew of food professionals and stylists baked cakes from our book. Enough cakes to fill a huge table! Plus enough of the Strawberry Rhubarb Dump Cake that everyone in the studio audience could have a piece.
David Venable loves to cook and is super friendly! We were honored that he invited us back. He is wonderful at describing flavors and tastes to a television audience that longs for a bite. When he tastes something truly wonderful, he breaks into his signature happy dance. Hands in the air, smile on his face, he happily shuffles in a circle. It is super special when he breaks into a happy dance. We got not one, but two happy dances! For those of you that wonder about the recipes in the book, he does a great job of describing the recipes in the book.
The entire experience is amazing. It is fast paced! It is delightful to see the other guests and products. The number of cameras, lights and microphones is mind-boggling! The visit to the salon is fun! To appear on QVC and share our book is incredible! Thank you all!
