Summer meals are a special treat at our dinner table. We take full advantage of the warm weather and grill most meals outside. By this time each summer we are beginning to tire of the favorites….no more burgers, brats, pork tenderloins, please.
It seems at this point in the season, with school only a few weeks away, we turn to old standbys to fill the “What’s For Dinner” dilemma at our home. Check out the blog I wrote for Kansas City Chow Town and get the recipe for Mom’s Favorite Kabobs. Kabobs are everyone’s favorite at our house. I hand out skewers and let each person build their own kabob with their favorite vegetables. It is another great way to sneak vegetables into our diets and eliminate the fuss.
While you preparing the kabobs, remember the old favorite, Baked Beef Rice? If you want that recipe, leave a comment on the blog and I will oblige.
Fire up the grill and enjoy!
