You know you love it. What is not to love about the colorful, sweet and crunchy candy cookie? M & M’s can brighten any day and in my book when you add these bits of candy to cookies…voila! Success!
Our daughter’s church youth choir recently sold cookies at an event that had over 1800 attending. We baked, baked and baked some more. Of course, as I’ve mentioned before, she is the master chocolate chip cookie baker in our home. I knew that I couldn’t compete with her talent, so out of the archives of my wooden recipe box appeared a favorite from days gone by. We baked equal amounts of chocolate chip cookies and candy cookies for the bake sale.
The bake sale was a huge success. The youth choir raised money to contribute to their mission trip that they will be taking this summer. A win/win for all!
